{"product_id":"1973-fender-jazz-bass-left-handed-black","title":"1973 Fender Jazz Bass - Left Handed - Black","description":"\u003cdiv class=\"item2-description__content\"\u003eThis is an almost completely original left handed 1973 Fender Jazz Bass.  Original black finish with Maple neck and black inlays and binding.  Bass has some minor nicks\/dings\/scratches and lacquer checking but overall is in very good cosmetic condition.  The bass is playing well on the lower frets but the neck on this one has a noticeable twist to it so I can't get the action as low as I'd like on the higher frets.  The action at the 12th measures .110 on both the Low E and high G strings.  To get the action lower the neck is going to need some work.   The frets are in still in good shape and it plays cleanly up and down the neck as it's currently setup.  The pickups have been changed to Fender Custom Shop pickups but the original pickups are in the case (I haven't tested them). The original pots and controls all function properly and the pots date to the 33rd week of 1973.  I see one screw on a tuner gear that was replaced.  The weight is 9.1 lbs.  It comes in a newer hardshell case.  Please let me know if you have any questions. No trade offers please.
