fender-stratocaster-1975-neck-issue-sunburst
Fender Stratocaster - 1975 - Neck Issue - Sunburst

This is a completely original 1975 Fender Stratocaster in sunburst finish with Maple neck/fretboard. This guitar has some nicks/dings/scratches, light lacquer checking and general finish wear but overall is still in very good condition for the age. The neck on this one does not have enough neck relief with most strings. It's currently setup with medium flat wounds and it has just enough relief and plays well with those strings but the neck will need some heat treatment or work if you want to use it with lighter strings. The frets show some wear but still have some good life left and it plays cleanly up and down the neck. Guitar is completely stock, all controls and pickups work as they should, and it sounds great! The pots date to late 1974 and the neck stamp is 1975. It comes in the pictured vintage case and comes with the bridge cover, tremolo bar, and a couple vintage cables. A nice weight on this one at 7.69 lbs! Please let me know if you have any questions. No trade offers please.
