Martin
1962 Martin 0-18 - Natural
$3,695.00
Description
This is a 1962 Martin 0-18. Guitar features a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides and Rosewood fretboard and bridge. The original finish has some nicks/dings/scratches, pick wear and lacquer checking but overall the guitar is still in good condition. This one has a couple very small crack repairs in the mahogany of the upper side and I see a small crack on the top from the pickguard shrinking (I would leave it alone with where it is located) but this guitar is structurally sound and ready to play! The frets are in very good shape and it plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzes or issues. The neck joint is tight to the body and the bridge is tight to the top. Current action at the 12th fret measures .12 on the low E and .07 on the high E and the saddle has some good height left so it could be lowered if desired. The guitar has a pickup with end pin jack and a battery clip installed but otherwise I believe it is completely original. The pickup works and sounds good. It comes in a nice vintage hardshell case. The case has a few stickers but is in very good condition. The weight on the guitar is 3.49 lbs. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
