1969 Martin D-21 Brazilian Rosewood / Sitka - Natural
$3,985.00
Description
This is a 1969 Martin D-21. Guitar features a tight grained Sitka Spruce top with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The original finish has some nicks/dings/scratches, pick wear and lacquer checking but overall the guitar is still in good condition. This one has a crack repair on the outside edge of the pickguard but this guitar is structurally sound and ready to play! The frets were dressed in the past and it plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzes or issues. The neck joint is tight to the body and the bridge is tight to the top. Current action at the 12th fret measures .10 on the low E and .08 on the high E and the saddle has some good height left so it could be lowered if desired. The pickguard and nut have been replaced. Whoever did the nut chipped a little bit off the corners of the fingerboard but the nut seems solid and looks to be bone. It comes in vintage hardshell case and it comes with the original care guide and pamphlet. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
