Alembic Excel Bass - 2006 - Short Scale - Vermillion

This is a beautiful 2006 Alembic Excel short scale bass.  It features an Ash body with Maple and Purpleheart accent layers, Vermillion top, 5pc Maple and Purpleheart neck, Ebony fretboard and oval mother or pearl inlays! Bass has a little bit of finish checking right at the neck joint and one very shallow finish ding on the back of the body but otherwise looks to be in perfect shape. The frets are in excellent condition with no real wear and the bass plays cleanly up and down the neck with good action and no buzzes or issues.  This one has the short 30.75" scale and has a flat fretboard radius.  The stock Alembic pickups and EQ sound great and all controls work as they should. It comes in the original G&G hardshell case and comes with the build sheet.  The weight on this one is 9.8 lbs.  Please let me know if you have any questions. No trade offer please. Thank you!
