Epiphone USA Spirit I - 1982 - Sunburst

Description

This is a 1982 Epiphone Spirit I that was built in the Gibson Kalamazoo factory.  It's basically a double cut Gibson Les Paul Junior with a bound curly maple top, sunburst finish, tortoise guard, 3 piece maple neck (like a Les Paul Custom from this era) and a Indian Rosewood fretboard.  The Tim Shaw PAF pickup dates to 1981 and the pots date to 81/82.   Guitar has some minor nicks/scratches as well as some light lacquer checking and a bit of buckle rash on the back but overall it is still in very good condition.  The frets are in great shape it plays cleanly up and down the neck with good action and no buzzes or issues. The Tim Shaw pickup sounds great and the controls function properly.  The tone cap has been changed to a Vitamin Q oil/paper cap and it has Dunlop strap buttons installed. The weight on this one is 7.19 lbs. It comes in a newer Epiphone hardshell case. Please let me know if you have any questions. No trade offers please. Thank you!
