Fender Jazz Bass Neck w/Tuners - 1976 - Fretless
Description
This is a project / fixer 1976 Fender Jazz Bass neck. 3-bolt bound maple neck with the original logo and finish. Looking at the code on the heal this looks to have been a fretted neck that has had the frets pulled and then the fretboard was painted to look like rosewood. I'm not sure what they used for paint but it's pretty thick (and roughly applied) and I could chip a bit off on the edges with my fingernail. The binding all looks to be in good shape. I haven't tested the neck but it looks to be straight and the truss rod feels like it functions correctly. As you can see the original finish has lots of checking and is flaking off on the headstock. The nut will also need to be replaced. It comes with the original tuners and they are in good shape. Please take a look at the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. I also have the matching body and hardware in another listing if you are interested in both.
