Gibson A-4 Mandolin - 1918-1920 - Red

This is a vintage Gibson A4 Model Mandolin.  The hand writing on the label is no longer legible but from the features I date this one to 1918-1920.  This instrument was found in storage so it will need some work to get it back into prime playing condition.  I see one top crack that will need fixed as well as one spot on the side and a bit of the fingerboard binding near the pickguard that could also use some glue.  The frets show some wear but still have lots of life left and it does play cleanly up and down the neck.  It still has the original tailpiece, pickguard, bridge and tuners.  The tuners are pretty stiff but they do function.  It comes in a new hardshell case.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
