Gibson SG Standard - 1974 - Walnut

Description

This is a used and abused '70s Gibson SG Standard.  This one has been repaired at both the headstock and body joint and it has lots of nicks/dings/scratches/wear.  The frets are worn and the bridge is about as low as it will go but the guitar still plays cleanly in all positions and the action is still good.  The pots look to be original and they work but are super worn/sloppy/loose and the soldering is pretty messy (I'd totally replace the pots/controls if I was to keep it).  The pickups have been changed to a Duncan SH-1N in the neck and a Gibson 490T in the bridge.  The weight is 7.52 lbs.  I believe the serial number was re-stamped after the headstock repair.  I was told this is a 1974 but I can't confirm the year (it is for sure a '70s though). This guitar is being sold "as is" so please let me know if you have any questions before purchasing.  It comes in an old hardshell case that's covered with stickers but it's still functional.
